Made from 0.6mm galvanised steel, these frame runners fit the national hive and are available as a flat runner or a 9-11 castellated runner.
We recommend a 10-slot castellated runner for a super box. It is a more practical method of frame spacing than using metal or plastic ends which need to be removed prior to extraction or frame cleaning.
However, in the brood box we recommend the flat frame runners as they allow you to gently slide frames apart during an inspection, rather than having to prise the frames out from the castellation.
